We, Mike Chiappe and Sébastien Aglaé, decided to create a video game studio driven by our shared passion for gaming. This journey began long before we had the skills or experience: back in middle school, we were already developing small games on Unity—most of which remained unfinished.
After meeting at university, we decided, a year later, to embark on this ambitious project alongside our studies.
The name of our studio is inspired by the Japanese word "花" (hana), meaning "flower." It refers to the cherry blossom season, a symbol dear to one of the founders, Mike Chiappe, who is passionate about Japanese culture (and maybe a little too fond of sakura 🌸).
Our goal is to create video games of all types, with no limits or boundaries. We know our ambitions might sometimes seem over the top, but it’s this hunger for creativity that drives us forward. Today, we are supported by a small team that shares our enthusiasm.
The studio was officially founded in France in January 2023. Since then, we’ve been working tirelessly to bring our ideas to life, balancing rigor and lightheartedness: Mike, a fan of deadlines, ensures meticulous organization, while Sébastien prefers a quieter and more thoughtful approach.
We’re proud of this complementarity, which is the strength of our studio and allows us to dream big while staying true to our passion for video games.
